witness your faith

“This is another reason why praise is such a powerful weapon, because when you praise Me and My Father, you’re declaring your faith in Me and your dependence on Me to control your life and bring about mighty changes. You’re witnessing your faith in Me, your trust in Me, your love for Me, and thus you’re bringing Me into the world in a tangible way, which tears the Enemy’s evil plan to shreds.”

knowledge of our creator

“Throughout the history of the world‚ it has always been the Devil’s plan to take away this knowledge of a Creator in the mind of man‚ so he could be exalted and worshiped as a god himself. But always My children’s voices have been raised to proclaim the truth and denounce his lies. Now, as the dark days of the End approach, very few are willing to stand up against the Devil’s attacks. His attacks are very subtle and have deceived many, even many of My elect.”

hit the devil hard

“So don’t let it happen! When the Enemy tempts you to enjoy just a little bit of negativity, that’s when you need to hit him hardest and start praising Me with great effort and enthusiasm. This is the kind of counterattack the Enemy cannot prevail against. Hit him hard and quick‚ and you’ll find he’ll flee like a wounded dog‚ and you’ll feel much, much better both physically and spiritually.”

praise him

“The longer you let the devil in, the harder it’s going to be for you to pull out of it. Don’t think that it’s just fine for you to revel in your negative thinking for a little while and then praise Me later when you feel more like it, because by the time you feel like it, you have already done damage to your spirit and possibly allowed the Enemy to influence others as well. The Enemy can use your mouth as a vehicle of negativity, discouragement, and disunity when you decide not to praise Me.”

discouragement the devils tool

“That’s why Satan tries so hard to get you discouraged or to make you complain‚ because these things have the exact opposite effect of the power of positive praise. No matter how unfair you feel the circumstances are, if you give in to complaining and feel that you deserve to revel a bit in your sorrow, anger, or feelings of frustration, then you are essentially making a comfy little home for the Enemy. He’s just loving it-making himself at home and having a great time.”

power of positive praise

(Jesus:) The Devil, the Enemy of your soul, absolutely hates it when you make use of the power of positive praise! It hits him hard in several directions, causing you to feel physically and spiritually strengthened, all the while bringing My blessing upon you in great measure. Plus, he just plain hates to hear it! It causes him and his imps unimaginable pain, and as persistent as they can sometimes be, it’s only a matter of time before they go running the opposite direction, covering their ears with their hands. Just as thinking positively can help eliminate poisons in your body, praising Me will help eliminate the Enemy and thwart his attempts to drag you down.

The Underused Weapon of Praise

Praise calls down help from Heaven and surrounds you with angels and heavenly forces!—Just as I surrounded My children of old when they went to battle. They were armed with songs and praises as their only weapon against their enemies, and I went before them with My armies and slew all their enemies (2Chr.20). Your praises can slay all your enemies and do battle for you and get the victory.

Your praises surround you with a force field both spiritually and physically. It transports your mind into heavenly places. It can protect you from pain‚ eliminate fear, and defeat the Enemy. Praise is another weapon, mighty and powerful. Just as I filled the temple with My presence when the Israelite’s praised Me, so will I fill your home and your heart and your thoughts with My presence when you praise Me, and I will be with you. Jesus speaking

   All praise is powerful

All praise is powerful, and the Devil hates every word of praise that comes forth from your mouth. But he especially hates specific praise, retaliation praise, when he’s attacking you with a particular battle and you turn right around and sock it to him with your praise—praising Me for the specific things he’s trying to use to attack you. That kills his pride and mortally wounds his spirit.

Praising in general terms for anything you have to be thankful for or your many blessings does lift your spirit and help you to feel more victorious. All praise is good, but when you take the specific attack the Enemy is hitting you with and turn around and transform it into a praise to Me, looking at the situation positively and thanking Me for whatever you can think of that is related to the battle he’s attacking you with, this is indeed a fiery sword that pierces his heart to its innermost depths and forces him to retreat, screaming with pain from your attack through praise.

“Praise is so much like electricity. When the batteries are charged or the generators are running‚ then there’s a plentiful supply of power. But weak batteries or faulty generators cause the lights to go out. If you don’t actively praise and focus‚ then not enough spiritual oomph will be generated to push your prayers through to answers. This is simplistic, but it shows you how praise works and how you can get more and better answers by praising.”

“Praise is so important! Praise is precious! Praise is valuable! Praise is the way of the Kingdom! Praise is the opposite of the way of the world. The Devil brings his people into bondage through fear and worry and contention and bitterness and murmuring. But I long to bring My children into freedom through praise and thanksgiving!”

Praise is a weapon

“thankfulness is praise. Counting your blessings, what some call “playing the glad game‚” is a real weapon which can defeat bad spirits of negativity, murmuring, self-pity, selfishness‚ discouragement and depression, and even jealousy.”

Let’s talk about Jesus! Let’s get positive! Let’s talk about the Word! Let’s talk about the needs of others! Let’s talk about the good things! “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things!” Speak evil of no man—even yourself!

“When the Devil smashes your life and leaves you in broken pieces, God can come in, take those pieces, and create the most beautiful stained glass window the world has ever seen. God loves to turn our every impossibility into the most wonderful opportunity you have ever had.”

Out with the old and in with the new

“Use praise from your heart more often. Strive to make your heart one that is praising about everything, thankful for everything. If you see you’re not thankful for something, strive to get into a thankful vein about that thing. That is how you move to higher ground over that particular attack on your spiritual life. You take out the weapon of praise and you blast away. Remember, I am the greatest thing in your heart, so just praise Me for Me if that’s all you can think of! Praise Me that you have Me‚ and that I have you, and that I will never let you go. Praise about anything!”

“When you’re hit with an attack that makes you feel bad about something, despondent, discouraged, hopeless, or condemned‚ using the weapon of praise would mean to employ thankfulness or to count your blessings, to use this aspect of praise in which you think of all the ways that the situation could have been worse, and praise god that it wasn’t. Or you recount how good he has been to you, how much you do have, and how richly blessed you are.”

“That kind of thankfulness will almost always improve your mood and your spirit, or at least snap you into reality that things really could be a lot worse and that you do have it pretty good! “
